Site Information and Data for Automatic Monitoring Stations

These pages give details of the automatic monitoring sites that are or have been operated on behalf of the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs in the UK. The information is divided up by UK Monitoring Zone, with the sites arranged alphabetically within the page for each region.

The information consists of the name of the site, pollutants measured, what type of location it is in and its Easting and Northing. This is followed by the dates when monitoring started and ended and a description of the site's location.

There is also a link to download pre-prepared csv data files of automatic monitoring data for each site. Each data file contains one year of data and is available in either a column format (easy for timeseries graphing) or tabular 24x365 format (useful for other analyses such as diurnal graphs).
